LuneDraft (the "App") is a local-first text editor for macOS. This policy explains what data is handled and how it is managed.
2. Information We Handle
The App primarily processes data on your device.
- Document content is handled on your Mac.
- File paths, recent files, and display preferences are stored locally.
- Recovery snapshots are stored locally to restore unsaved work after crashes.
- Clipboard text is read only when Quick Paste Preview is executed.
By default, the App is not designed to upload document content to external servers.
3. External Transfer and Third-Party Sharing
By default, the App does not share document content with third parties. Transitions to websites or support pages occur only when you explicitly choose to open them.
4. Purpose of Processing
- Provide editing and preview features
- Store preferences such as font size, tab width, and wrapping
- Recover unsaved content after unexpected termination
- Provide optional routes to support and release information
5. Retention
- Local files and settings remain until you remove them.
- Recovery snapshots are kept on-device and older items may be automatically cleaned up.
6. User Controls
- You can delete local files and settings at any time.
- You can disable helper login items in macOS settings.
- You can stop using the App and remove it from your Mac.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not primarily directed to children under the age defined by applicable law.
8. International Data Transfer
The App is designed not to transfer document content externally by default. If this policy changes in the future, transfer mechanisms and safeguards will be documented here.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this policy for legal or product reasons. Material changes are reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
